The Palms Restaurant will be the Incantations Event Headquarters where you will find printed maps and schedules for visiting individual works and performances. Free camping is also available at the Palms (No camping reservations necessary).

Incantations is an annual installation based and site-specific art gathering in the High Desert of Southern California. As a space for creating and presenting sound art work, the desert landscape calls on artists to be open to its many opportunities and challenges. Incantations invites artists to work within the landscape, space, and history of the desert to call forth or summon the spirit of the space while creating in relationship to it.

Coinciding with the Wonder Valley Experimental Music Festival, the purpose of this event is to invite conversation and contemplation around sound, space and engaging sonically in the desert. Situated within carefully curated sites, Incantations will host over 20 artists creating site-specific performances and installations around the Wonder Valley.
